Car covers serve three primary functions:
- Protecting against dust, paint, and coatings
- Shielding from bird and animal droppings
- Preventing frost, snow, tree sap, and fallen leaves
So, how should you choose between a reusable car cover and a disposable one?
Structurally, reusable car covers often have a soft fleece lining. While this lining helps protect the car’s surface, it is prone to collecting dirt, dust, and debris. Over time, contaminants embedded in the fleece can cause it to harden, and fine sand particles or sharp twigs may also stick to it. Repeated use without proper cleaning and maintenance can lead to minor scratches on the car’s paint.
For convenience and better protection, we recommend using a PE or non-woven disposable biodegradable car cover. It is easy to put on and remove, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly.
